Learning as I go — and designing this alongside the people I hope it will help.
Why I’m building Thrive With Endo
Ever since I started having periods, I’ve been living with severe pain and heavy periods.
My attempts to feel better include multiple surgeries, countless medical treatments and endless inconsistent lifestyle changes. I’ve spent years researching symptoms, trying different diets, experimenting with supplements, seeing specialists, exploring acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, changing routines — and still never getting to a place where I understood what worked and what didn’t.
Because I did get better at times. I just didn’t know why.
When I became pregnant (which also didn’t come easy), something unexpected happened. For almost nine months, my endometriosis symptoms disappeared. It gave me a glimpse of what life could feel like without constant pain and inflammation.
Now that I’m on maternity leave and my hormones are returning to normal, the symptoms are gradually coming back. Instead of feeling defeated by that, I decided to build the tool I wish I’d had years ago.
Not just another period tracker. An intelligent health mentor that helps people understand their own bodies, connect the dots between symptoms and lifestyle, and feel more in control of their health.
P.S. I’m building during my baby’s nap time and I don’t have a village, so it might take a little longer — but I believe it will be worth the wait.
